'Black Panthers' Director on Legacy of Legendary Movement

Stanley Nelson, director and producer of "The Black Panthers," joins John Heilemann on "With All Due Respect" to talk about his new documentary. He discusses the civil rights movement and the genesis, rise, and fall of the Black Panther Party, including their impact on American pop culture, and the role of women in their movement. Nelson also reminisces about some of the larger-than-life characters associated with the party, such as Huey Newton, Bobby Seale, and Eldridge Cleaver, and addresses police brutality and the African American community — the reason the Panthers came into being, and an issue on which little progress has been made — noting "we are losing black lives, and how do we correct that ourselves?"
