Ex-Connecticut governor asks court to overturn conviction

NEW YORK (AP) - Former Connecticut Gov. John Rowland has asked a federal appeals court to overturn his political corruption conviction.

The Republican wouldn't comment Friday as he left oral arguments before the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York City.
