Non-Trump GOP'ers Want Different Nominee, Even If He Leads: Poll

While Donald Trump maintains strong lead in natl voter preferences in Republican Party, many non-Trump GOP voters say they won't back the billionaire even if he's crowned the party's nominee in July, according to Monmouth University Poll. Among GOP voters not currently supporting Trump, 55% want someone else nominated at a contested convention, compared to 31% who say the party should back him "A majority of non-Trump supporters seem to be in favor of a brokered convention process at this point
