Joe Biden Greets Pope Francis, Speaks About Cancer at the Vatican

Vice President Joe Biden spoke at a regenerative medicine conference at the Vatican on Friday. The vice president asked foreign governments and pharmaceutical companies to join a U.S. endeavor to share data and resources to speed the development of new cancer treatments. Biden thanked the pontiff for "more comfort than even he, I think, will ever understand," after the loss of his son Beau to cancer last year.
