Church commemorates civil rights protest in Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - A church in Tuscaloosa commemorated the 52nd anniversary of a civil rights protest known as "Bloody Tuesday."

The Tuscaloosa News (http://bit.ly/1OaEoNW) reports that the First African Baptist Church held a ceremony Sunday to commemorate the event, which occurred on June 9, 1964.
