Speaking at a joint news conference at the North American Leaders' Summit, President Obama discussed trade in an integrated global economy. While acknowledging that the politics of trade are difficult, the president advised against "shutting ourselves off from the world." He said that the Trans-Pacific Partnership is "the right thing to do."
