President George. W. Bush Calls for Unity of Hope

President George W. Bush spoke on Tuesday at an interfaith memorial in Dallas for the five police officers who were killed last week at a demonstration against fatal shootings of two black men by police in Louisiana and Minnesota this week. He said the slain officers were the best among us. "We do not want the unity of grief, he said, "we want the unity of hope, affection, and high purpose."
