Judge denies bid to end suburban NYC chief's suspension

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - A federal judge has denied a request to lift the suspension of a suburban New York City police chief who oversaw an intelligence unit that prosecutors say engaged in unlawful surveillance practices, including racial profiling.
