A defense of Dave Morin

Dave Morin and Path get a lot of shit. Some of it is deserved, like the time Path breached user trust by stealthily uploading your address book up to the cloud. Mostly, though, it seems people don't like Morin because he's seemingly had an easy road—from a well-to-do family, landing in Silicon Valley and "lucking" into stints at Apple and Facebook, before getting ass-loads of money to launch his own app. […]
