Assembly panel to consider bills restricting access to guns

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Convicted carjackers, gang members or racketeers may soon be banned from buying or owning guns in New Jersey.

The Assembly's Law and Public Safety committee is set to vote Monday on the measure, along with two other bills dealing with access to firearms.
