Lawmakers agree to change terms for sexual assault crimes

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Louisiana will change the terms used to describe sexual assault crimes, if Gov. Bobby Jindal agrees to a proposal headed to his desk.

Authorities currently use "simple rape," ''forcible rape" and "aggravated rape" to describe the varying degrees of sexual assault charges.
